Commenting on the statements made by Walid Jumblatt, an official source in Hizbullah announced the following:
-- First: under the slogan "perhaps" and "probably" Walid Jumblatt ignites the country with incitement, sedition and fabrications. So, he constructs scenarios on information that have turned into films that "perhaps" served him in his political accusations or "perhaps" served those who requested that of him. Moreover, if the confidential reports of the security and military services spoke of containers that belong to one of the institutions that put surveillance cameras in al-Ouzai area and outside Beirut International Airport, Jumblatt's "perhaps" came to add "Sam 7" rockets from the imagination, targeting the planes and personalities where all of that not mentioned in the "confidential" reports published today.
Beirut International Airport was and remains an historic complex to the American Administration together with Jumblatt today. This airport, which 'Israel' bombarded in the July 2006 war and tried hard to have it placed under certain security dominance, all because the airport and the road leading to it fall near an area that embraces the resistance, an area Jumblatt never hesitated to show his hatred against them.
-- Second: Who is it that bequeathed the state and its institutions as a private "feudalistic" possession of Jumblatt and his coterie, for whenever he meets highly distinguished officers not serving his corruption and cronyism, officers not on the books of his fictitious companies, he starts his accusations against them. Then, he makes the decision to isolate them. Is this the sovereignty of state he talks about and violates?
-- Third: Who appointed Walid Jumblatt a trustee of the security of the state, citizens, ambassadors, airport and the southerners, so much so that he together with his coterie and guardians from abroad decide to define the work limits of the resistance, its security and logistics?
-- Fourth: We thought that Jumblatt and his allies wanted to denounce the sorties flown by the 'Israeli' enemy in our skies, only to find him providing them with a cover by demanding the prevention of Iranian Civil Aviation from coming to Lebanon! Has Jumblatt committed himself to America's battle against Iran after he had announced that 'Israel' was no longer an enemy, to place himself in the position of an American instrument here to serve 'Israel'? "Perhaps" Walid Jumblatt suffered a political overdose in the past few days, so he wanted to retreat and return to tensioning and blocking opportunities for dialogue, in order not to be reprimanded again, as the State Department report did with the 'March 14' crowd.
-- Fifth: Jumblatt's campaign is a faithful translation of the 'Lebanese hot summer' promise given by his caretaker David Welch, and an echo of the U.S. State Department's statement. Also, it is a blatant attempt to obscure what the enemy revealed about the thwarting of a large security operation that was to take place against Hizbullah.
-- Sixth: We remind Jumblatt that the security report that circulated the media yesterday about the cooperation of some Lebanese sides with 'Israeli' Mossad apparatus, in the assassination of Commander Imad Moghnieh, is being seriously considered by Hizbullah.
-- Seventh: Regardless of the accuracy of the information Jumblatt mentioned related to a communications network associated with the work of the resistance, Jumblatt here provided a notification to the 'Israeli' enemy, a matter now in the hands of the Lebanese judiciary, to act as they see fit towards those who endanger the security of Lebanon and the Lebanese.
-- Eighth: Hizbullah still believes in the necessity and wisdom of keeping the army, the security forces and its formations away from the country's political interattractions. Accordingly, the programmed luring process led by Jumblatt and his masters, to play with the fate of institutions constituting the last bastion of national protection, would inevitably lead to disaster with dire consequences, especially in light of an imposed government, whose legitimacy is not recognized by the majority of the Lebanese people.
Finally, all these media bubbles, fiction films and insane accusations will not remove the frustration experienced by followers of the faltering U.S. project. However, we will emphasize further that such actions will not prevent us from continuing the course of defending our homeland against a clear enemy that threatens us and performs constant drills on our borders, and from the permanent readiness to deter any potential aggression.
