Amidst growing Saudi-«Israeli» normalization, it had been revealed that the head of Saudi Arabia's General Intelligence Directorate [GID] paid a surprise and quiet visit to the "Israeli" entity this week.

Saudi-«Israeli» Normalization: Spy Director Secretly Visited «Israel»

The "Israeli" intelligence news service, DEBKAfile, said that Khalid bin Ali bin Abdullah al-Humaidan made his way to al-Quds and Ramallah.

Ramallah is the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority [PA]. However, neither the "Israeli" entity nor the PA confirmed al-Humaidan's visit.

According to DEBKA, military engineers in Iran had been working round the clock on a project dubbed "Riyadh First". Its objective is to add an extra 100 kilometers [62 miles] to the intermediate range of Tehran's Scud-C and Scud-D surface missiles.

The extra range will enable these missiles to reach the heart of Riyadh, capital city of Saudi Arabia.

The so-called "Riyadh project" was ordered by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and was developed at al-Ghadi base, 48 kilometers [30 miles] west of Tehran near Tehran.

In referring to the "Riyadh Project", Amir Ali Hajizadeh, air force commander for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps [IRGC], remarked earlier in February that, "Should the enemy make a mistake, our roaring missiles will rain down on them."

Iran's General Hajizadeh heads the missile-testing site and had ordered other efforts stopped to focus solely on the Riyadh Project.

A confirmation of Humaidan's visit would indicate that he is attempting to parse security issues concerning a regional conference with the US and the "Israeli"-Arab areas while in al-Quds, and warning Palestinians not to strengthen ties with Iran while visiting Ramallah.

The conference was proposed during a February 15 meeting between "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.

In August 2015, the "Israeli" Jerusalem Post reported that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas delivered a letter to Rouhani detailing the "‘Israeli' assaults against our people and their holy sites, as well as bilateral relations between the two sides."
