Putin to ‘Israel’: Your Freedom to Act in Syria Is Over

Following the twelfth ‘Israeli' violation against Syria since 2011, Russia was not happy with the Zionist reckless attacks last Friday, especially as they came on the heels of ‘Israeli' PM Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Moscow last week.
Relatively, Syria's UN Envoy Bashar al-Jaafari said that Putin has sent a message to Netanyahu that ‘Israel's' fee pass to disrupt anti-terror operations in Syria is over, and that.. Syria has the right to defend itself.
"Putin sent a clear message," said al-Jaafari, speaking on Syrian television.
"The fact is that the ‘Israeli' ambassador [to Russia] was summoned for a conversation only a day after he submitted his credentials [to the Russian Foreign Ministry last Thursday], and was told categorically that this game is over."
Syria's use of anti-aircraft fire in response to the ‘Israeli' violation last Thursday night has changed the rules of the game, too, al-Jaafari said, adding that Syria will not stand idly by in the face of an ‘Israeli' threat.
He also noted that when the war broke out in Syria in 2011, armed opposition groups sabotaged Syria's anti-aircraft defense systems, giving ‘Israel' freedom to operate.
