Hizbullah and Amal: Future outlets revealed that Future Movement was trying to cover up the crime

The leaderships of Hizbullah and Amal issued a joint statement noting the following:
"In response to the instigative Future movement media concerning the painfully bloody incidents that occurred overnight in Bekaa, the following is clarified:
1- At the time that huge serious efforts were being made by the Lebanese army to bring together the mayors, Mukhtars (representative of villagers), and prominent representatives of the middle Bekaa to attempt to heal the wounds of the Saadnayel and Taalabaya area, and at the time that the authorities and religious representatives in the area were calling for reconciliations, and at the time that a meeting was ongoing in the presence of Hizbullah and Amal to pave the way for the reconciliation... the citizens were taken by surprise with gunfire in every direction.
2- The aforementioned confirms that the target from yesterday's incidents was to halt the reconciliation efforts in this sensitive area.
3- If the cap fits, wear it. The Future movement revealed that it was the initiator in covering up the incidents and attempting to display them as an Amal-Hizbullah clash with the army. In this respect, we would like to draw attention to the statement issued by the military spokesman through the ANP which revealed the lies and fabrications of the Future media.
4- There is a need to respond to this instigation through completing the efforts that had reached the peak yesterday afternoon to ensure the reconciliation.
5- Hizbullah and Amal authorities offer their condolences to the families of the martyrs that were killed yesterday night, stressing the need for everyone, with no exceptions, to obey the security forces and the army to allow for security to take over the area, question the authorities over what happened, and bring the perpetrators to justice."
