Hizbullah asks for return of arms confiscated in Lebanon

Hizbullah issued a statement, in which it said that a truck confiscated by the Lebanese customs Thursday was carrying munitions destined for the resistance and asked for the weaponry to be returned.
"Lebanese customs confiscated Thursday at midday a truck carrying munitions for the resistance," a statement said, adding that the truck was heading from the Bekaa Valley to southern Lebanon.
It stressed that the "ministerial declaration" recognizes the right of the resistance to liberate the rest of the occupied Lebanese regions, free the detainees and face the "Israeli" threats against Lebanon.
"The Lebanese authorities concerned should return the truck and the munitions to the resistance," the statement added.
