Bahraini Top Cleric Ayatollah Qassim’s Surgery is Successful

Tests carried out on Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim reportedly prove that his latest surgery was indeed successful.

A team tasked with overseeing his health made the revelations on Wednesday but added that the senior cleric would remain under constant observation as he continues to receive treatment at a London hospital.

Sheikh Qassim underwent surgery last Tuesday for an undisclosed condition.

On July 9 he was permitted to leave the Gulf Kingdom and seek treatment abroad.
