MP Hobballah: Resistance must be a basic national principle

MP Hassan Hobballah of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc said that the Resistance has made its best efforts to preserve Lebanon's unity.
"The Resistance has dropped many of its rights to achieve this objective," Hobballah said.
He also said that the opposition is enemies with anyone who wants to occupy land and displace people; anyone else is not the Resistance's foe. "If we disagree with anyone in politics, we can resort to dialogue on the condition that our choices are national choices," he added.
Hobballah said that a national dialogue must be based on the principle of preserving the strength of the country, "and therefore the Resistance."
"It is a shame that the Resistance is a problematic matter among the Lebanese... because resistance must be a basic national principle," Hobballah said.
