MP Raad: Resistance΄s right to self-defense is sacred and non-negotiable

Despite some difficulty in overcoming the more controversial clauses, the ministerial statement is expected to be completed Wednesday or Thursday, according to MP Mohammad Raad of the Loyalty to the Resistance.
Raad said on Wednesday that disagreement between the majority and opposition would "end after the elections of 2009," when the opposition will be the majority and the new cabinet would have "other considerations."
During a ceremony organized by Hizbullah in Hay al-Sellom in Beirut's southern suburb, Raad said that the Resistance's right to self-defense was "sacred" and "non-negotiable."
Raad stated that "parties following the American agenda" were divided and separated, accusing them of wasting time and procrastinating the ministerial statement's formation.
Raad praised the statements MP Michel Aoun made on Tuesday concerning the Resistance and asserted that the opposition was powerful and coherent, as was the Memorandum of Understanding between Hizbullah and the Free Patriotic Movement.
