Qassem: Hizbullah-Salafist MOU is neither the first nor the last

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that his party had "offered its hand to everyone... no one can deny the content of the Hizbullah-Salafist Memorandum of Understanding."
"The MOU stops Sunni-Shia conflict, ensures Islamic unity, and strengthens the resistance against "Israel"," Qassem said after a meeting with the National Gathering of Akkar on Tuesday.
"This is neither the first nor the last memorandum in support of Islamic and national unity," Qassem said.
"The Doha agreement was the beginning of a new chapter in our history, one based on cooperation and understanding."
