Hizbullah condemns Tripoli blast, calls for a strong stand with Lebanese Army

Hizbullah strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Tripoli which targeted a bus transporting Lebanese Army soldiers whom form the country's peace and stability assurance.

This attack which resulted in a number of dead and injured casualties is targeting the atmosphere of the ongoing reconciliations, by those who have lost from the reconciliations and those who tamper with security. This necessitates a strong stand with the Army and its patriotic role and its persistent role in preserving national peace and the reconciliation option. It also requires a greater role of the security system in pursuing the criminals and bringing them to justice to receive the harshest punishment.

We in Hizbullah present our warmest condolences to the Lebanese Army leadership and the families of the martyrs and pray for the quick healing of the wounded.
