... And it was the UN chief who responded this time to "Israeli" daily claims and accusations to Hizbullah of violating UN resolution 1701 and building military bases at the South under the eyes of the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
Indeed, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon denied, in his eighth report on the implementation of UN resolution 1701, that the UNIFIL had evidences of new military infrastructure or arms smuggling operations taking place at southern region.
The report also slammed the continuous "Israeli" occupation of Lebanese Al-Ghajar village despite the Lebanese approval of a UN proposal to put the village under its direct advisory.
It also criticized the ongoing "Israeli" violations of the Lebanese airspace on a daily basis, noting that the Zionist entity didn't yet provide the United Nations with maps of the mines it has tumbled across south Lebanon during the July 2006 war against the country.
Meanwhile, the UN chief confirmed progress has been achieved in implementing the mentioned resolution, praising the positive political developments that have been taking place in Lebanon since the signing of the Doha agreement. He also expressed satisfaction over the existing cooperation between the Lebanese army and the UNIFIL forces.
However, Ban equalized between the killer and the victim when he said that he was angry because of the mutual threats between "Israel" and the Resistance, ignoring the fact that "Israel" is attacking Lebanon and not the other way around.
On the occupied Shibaa farms, Ban quoted Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem as saying that they were Lebanese, and promised to continue diplomatic efforts until an "Israeli" withdrawal from the region was achieved.
