Hizbullah said that the "Israeli" kidnapping of two Lebanese citizens on Friday was a strong violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and an attack on the country's security.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Hizbullah added that this act contradicted all international and legal standards and urged everyone to carry out their responsibilities.
"How will the United Nations Security Council respond to the violation of Resolution 1701? What are the procedures to be taken in order to prevent the repetition of this act?" The statement read.
Hizbullah also said that keeping silence toward this ongoing aggression would be considered collusion, whether it was international, Arab or Lebanese parties.
The party called on the cabinet to take firm and adequate procedures concerning this issue because the Lebanese people had the right to stop any aggression against their country through all possible means.
