Sayyed Nasrallah to Mark Loyalty to Martyrs on Martyr Leaders Day

16-2-2009
February 16 is not a "traditional" day on the Islamic Resistance's path... It's the day of "loyalty to martyrs," martyrs who chose death over humiliation, oppression and occupation and fell martyrs while serving the cause...
On the 16th of February 1984, "the sheikh of the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance" Sheikh Ragheb Harb was martyred. Eight years later, "the Sayyed of the martyrs" Sayyed Abbas Moussawi, who was Hizbullah Secretary General, joined the procession just after having marked the eighth anniversary of Sheikh Harb's martyrdom.
On the 16th of February 2008, Lebanon was still mourning another great resistance figure, Hizbullah top military commander martyr Imad Moghnieh (Hajj Redwan) who was assassinated by the "Israeli" Mossad on the 12th of February 2008. His name remains one of "Israel's" worst nightmares.
On Monday, the Lebanese and the supporters of the resistance are set to remember the sacrifices made by the Resistance martyrs and heroes, and mark the "day of loyalty" with the same pride, honor and dignity as every year.
Hizbullah organizes, on this occasion, a ceremony in the Sayyed al-Shouhadaa complex at the southern suburb of Beirut, scheduled at 18.30 Beirut time (16.30 GMT).
Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will deliver a speech and declare Hizbullah's position over the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, mainly the "Israeli" elections and its repercussions on the general situation.
