Politicized Judicial Appointments! Hasn΄t the judiciary΄s independence & fairness suffered enough as it is?

Commenting on the recent judicial appointments, Hizbullah issued a statement saying: "We had hoped for the judiciary to be kept away from politicization, but recent judicial appointments were issued politicized at an ambiguous timing in the middle of the judicial year. Both matters carry much damage to people's interests and the justice principle which governs the work of the judicial system."

The statement added: "One does not need to look hard when reading about the posts of sensitive nature allocated to some, who do not hide their political affiliation with a certain group, nor do they make their partisanship influence in their performance secret to anyone."

Finally, Hizbullah concluded the statement asking: "Hasn't the judicial institution suffered enough as it is, in a way that harms its independence and performance of fairness?
