"Israel" Will Continue Over Flights in Lebanon Airspace

The ‘Israeli' army confirmed on Thursday a decision to maintain military over flights in Lebanon's airspace in violation of Security Council Resolution 1701.
The Lebanese Army said that on Wednesday at least 16 ‘Israeli' planes staged reconnaissance flights across Lebanon for more than an hour.

In its statement, the ‘Israeli' army reaffirmed what it calls "'Israel's' right to continue to survey areas that pose a threat to its security."

The statement came shortly after Likud PM Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in to lead an extreme right government.
