Sheikh Qaouk discussed landmines & cluster bombs with the International Red Cross Committee

Hizbullah Official representative in the South, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, received in his office in Tyre the President of the Red Cross International Committee, Brian Tisdale to discuss the issue of landmines and cluster bombs left behind by the Zionist enemy in the south, and the International Red Cross' efforts to remove them.
Following the meeting, Tisdale commented that cluster bombs "are still causing a humanitarian tragedy in southern Lebanon," and that "Work on their removal is still underway."
"Unfortunately we have seen many innocent people killed in their fields by these bombs, and now 3 years on the war, these humanitarian problems continue to persist, which is very sad," he added
Tisdale thanked Hizbullah "for its interest in this area" and also indicated that they are "working with all parties in the conflict, including Hizbullah, to resolve this issue," wishing "the best for Lebanon and the Lebanese."
