Hizbullah issued a statement on the stand taken by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon regarding the aggression on Gaza.
It said the following:

"Hizbullah strongly condemns the recent position of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, in which he absolves the 'Israeli' enemy of a series of massacres and attacks in the Gaza Strip during the latest aggression. We feel such position is a flagrant complicity with the Zionist executioner and a going to excess in coercing the victim."

"Such shameful collusion of the Security Council and its Secretary General with the 'Israeli' enemy comes as a reward to the occupation forces on its criminal acts, a cover up for its acts of aggression, encouraging them to delve further into its criminality, far from any liability or accountability, to form a kind of immunity for abuse and criminality."

The statement concluded: "We call upon this international institution and the Secretary-General to rise above and adjust these stands in the interest of the rights of peoples, especially the Palestinian people, since the image of this institution is gradually crumbling because if its partiality and for covering up criminal killers."
