Sheikh Qassem: ’Israel´s’ drills are preparations for potential war it would regain what it lost in July 2006

Hizbullah deputy secretary general sheikh Naim Qassem asserted that when ‘Israel' executes maneuvers, it means war is on the doorsteps to help it regain what it lost in July 2006. Qassem called for preparedness and stressed that resistance isn't only a solution for Lebanon, but also a necessity and a duty, and that everyone should work to empower and support the resistance.

Qassem's speech was part of a public ceremony on the anniversary of the Resistance and Liberation Day where Qassem called on the Lebanese president to tell visiting U.S. VP John Biden what Lebanon wants, not no hear what the U.S. wants.

Qassem asked wht the American position was on the ‘Israeli' violations and aggressions, and what the US has done to ensure Lebanon's sovereignty is preserved and respected. Qassem questioned the "US interference in our issues" and asked them to "leave us alone to elect whomever we want to form an authority the people believe in".

Sheikh Qassem hoped that every foreign figure visiting Lebanon be asked about the ‘Israeli' spy networks and aggressions and the violation of UNSCR 1701.

H.E. added that the number of the agent networks could reach the dozens as some are being arrested and others may flee or hide. "These networks signify the ‘Israeli' threat is not solely that of borders and airspace, but also in every home," Qassem exclaimed.

Qassem underlined the fact that the resistance has two main goals: Liberating the land and its inhabitants, and Protecting them...".even if ‘Israel' withdraws from Ghjar village and the Shibaa Farms. Hence, the only way to confront ‘Israel' and deal with it is ‘resistance'."
