As-Safir reports another colonel arrested as "Israeli" spy

As-Safir newspaper learned on Monday that the Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence Directorate questioned an army colonel identified as Chahid T., who is originally from Beit Mallat in Akkar but is currently residing in Jbeil, for suspicion of being an "Israeli" spy.

The suspect quickly confessed during the interrogation that he was dealing with the Mossad, according to the daily.
As-Safir added that a retired Customs colonel, who works with Chahid T., was also arrested in Mount Lebanon.
