Member of "Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc" MP Hassan Fadlallah, declared that "The resistance in Lebanon is stronger now than it was in the July 2006 war; it is now capable of defending Lebanon and confronting any new 'Israeli' adventure."

In an interview to come out in tomorrow's edition of "al-Quds al-Arabi" (Arab Jerusalem) newspaper-published in London, he said "For 'Israel' to decide on war against Lebanon is not an easy decision, 'Israel' would carry out its threats every day if it could, the deterrent factor against its implementation of these intentions is the 'Israeli' enemy's foreknowledge that its adventure in Lebanon is no longer a picnic, that the resistance it faces is real, serious, solid and prepared to defeat it in Lebanon once again."

MP Fadlallah referred to "Several contributing factors to this victory over 'Israeli' aggression in July, first of which is the steadfastness of the Mujahideen and combatants in the battlefield against 'Israel's' war machine," adding that "Without a doubt internal unity at the home front is a contributing factor in this resilience and in making this accomplishment."

He explained, adding "On the dialogue table, we are discussing a defensive strategy and the best ways to protect and defend our country Lebanon."

In response to a question on whether he expected a second meeting between the Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri and Hizbullah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, he said: "Contacts and constant communication exist between Hizbullah and the PM-designate, there are no obstacles to such meetings taking place in the framework of the consultations underway to form a government and in the framework of a bilateral relationship after we all declared the turning of a new leaf."
