Kafarshouba Residents with MP Hashem Pull Out "Israeli" Barbed Wire

Residents of the southern town of Kafarshouba stormed into the sand barrier that was erected recently by 'Israeli' occupation forces on Lebanese soil and raised the Lebanese and Resistance flags.
Al-Manar's correspondent in south Lebanon said that MP Qassem Hashem accompanied the residents to the location of the 'Israeli' violation and pulled out the 'Israeli' barbed wire. 'Israeli' occupation forces were on high alert as 3 Merkava tanks deployed near the location with soldiers taking combat positions.
20 days ago, 'Israeli' occupation forces erected a 20-meter high and 70 meters wide sand barrier near the Hasan Gate in Kafarshouba.
The 'Israeli' violation took place under the eyes of the UNIFIL.
Concrete blocks were later placed behind the barrier in a prelude to use it as an advanced surveillance post facing Lebanese army units deployed in the region.
Worth mentioning that the Kafarshouba Hills are one of the points on the UN delineated blue line that Lebanon has reservations on.
When the residents withdrew from the location, six 'Israeli' soldiers advanced to the barrier and pulled out the Lebanese and Resistance flags, under the eyes of UNIFIL troops.
