Hizbullah official in South Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qaouk welcomed Youth minister Talal Areslan as he visited the south during commemorations of the July 2006 Divine Victory.
During the meeting, Sheikh Qaouk said that enjoying victory is not fulfilled completely due to the continuous "Israeli" violations, the occupation of Shiba'a farms and Kafar Shuba hills, since each bit of land means Lebanese dignity, sovereignty and freedom.
Sheikh Qaouk added: "not only we demand the removal of barriers from Kafar Shuba but also the complete retreat of the Zionist occupation from Sheba'a and Kafar Shuba."
In addition, Qaouk considered that "all international provisions did not stop "Israel" from committing violations and provocations, and that the UNIFIL promised the people to remove the "Israeli" post from Kafar Shuba (which has not happened so far)." Qaouk added "UNIFIL is helpless before the "Israeli" violations in Kafar Shuba just like it can do nothing about the air violations."
Qaouk said the United Nations should free itself from the obligation of pleasing "Israelis" and that its role is supporting and protecting the Lebanese. He highlighted "that the Interim Forces should stick to its obligations and duties" and considered that all the "Israeli" pressures are to make UNIFIL fall in trap.
