Member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Dr. Ali Fayyad, considers the enemy War Minister's words as additional "Israeli" threats to Lebanon.
He said: "When the enemy War Minister Ehud Barak spoke two days ago, saying 'the Lebanese state is unacceptable when its components contain Hizbullah and the resistance', and his saying 'that 'Israel' considers itself free to do what it likes towards Lebanon'; on the one hand this forms a successive escalation in 'Israeli' threats, while on the other hand, such stands form a combined mixture of 'Israeli' threats to Lebanon and an attempt to intervene in vital internal Lebanese affairs, as to influence the current course of government formation in Lebanon."
Fayyad stressed that "The Lebanese response, as always, requires the confirmation of adherence to the resistance, secondly to emphasize the importance and consolidation of the climates of unity and internal Lebanese cohesion, and to accelerate the formation of a national unity government."
