Commenting on the summoning of the Supreme Islamic Commission President Sheikh Akarmah Sabri by the enemy police and his interrogation, the following statement was issued by Hizbullah:

Hizbullah strongly condemns the Zionist aggression against Aqsa Mosque speaker, and sees this act as an exaggeration of going to excesses in the Zionist grave violations of religious freedom and freedom of movement and expression.

Hizbullah declares its full solidarity with His Eminence Dr. Akarmah Sabri and puts what happened in the hands of human rights institutions, the United Nations and international bodies, and calls for exercising all forms of pressure on the "Israeli" enemy to prevent future attacks on religious symbols and the desecration of the sanctity of holy sites at their forefront the city of Quds (Jerusalem) and the Aqsa Mosque.
