Hajj Hassan: The "Israeli" aggressions should be dealt firmly by all

Several educational matters were discussed by Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Dr. Hussein Hajj Hassan with the Minister of National Education Bahia Hariri in her office at the ministry today.

Hajj Hassan pointed out that "Minister Hariri touched upon the issue of the textbook being used in one of the private schools' curriculum. The book describes ‘resistance' as ‘terrorism'."
The MP pointed out that "The Minister expressed her condemnation and rejection together with all the rest of the Lebanese of all backgrounds and orientations."

He added that "Hariri considers this matter utterly rejected, although it falls outside her authority as Education Minister, since this book is taught as part of a foreign curriculum to a specific category of students."

MP Hajj Hassan said, "This matter does not absolve anyone of the responsibility to call such acts as ‘unacceptable' and that all official departments concerned with this matter ought to pay attention, because the whole of Lebanon is proud of its resistance and its achievements. All of Lebanon is proud of these achievements, and all of Lebanon is determined to confront the Zionist enemy and considers the resistance of the noblest phenomena and achievements in Lebanon's history."

Hajj Hassan added that "Everyone considers the resistance as ‘resistance', yet ‘terrorism' is the Zionist occupation and its repeated Zionist attacks, the latest of which is ‘Israel's' violations against Lebanon in the form of planting security devices, which were uncovered by the resistance, and firmly dealt with by all leaders and officials, the Lebanese army in particular."
