Moussawi: How will the government face "Israeli" violations of Lebanon´s sovereignty

Just like in the first day of the discussions, March 14 MPs dedicated the biggest parts of their speeches to assail the Resistance and reject its clause from the policy statement without offering any "alternative". However, Hizbullah MPs decided to respond to all claims and accusations with MP Nawwaf Moussawi speaking on behalf of all martyrs and MP Ali Ammar calling on Speaker Nabih Berri to delete any mention to Hizbullah from the minutes of the sessions.

The Loyalty to Resistance MP Nawwaf Moussawi said that the formation of this government came as a victory for the consensus approach in the face of the strife approach and as a victory for those who want consensus and a defeat for those who do not want consensus. He challenged those who objected to Article 6 of the Ministerial Statement, which pertains to Hizbullah arms, asking, "How will the Lebanese government face "Israeli" violations of our airspace? By saying it objects to Article 6?" He also said that ""Israel" has imposed war on Lebanon, and our stance is that we should defend Lebanon."

"We still have territory occupied by "Israel", and the Blue Line is not the border of the Lebanese state," Moussawi added. He also asked the cabinet to "integrate the concept of fighting "Israel"" in national academic curricula.
