Hizbullah: PM Hariri´s visit to Damascus a step in the right direction

Hizbullah, which has long called for clearing the atmosphere between the two countries, considers this visit as a positive development in line with its vision announced during the difficult times when the country was taken towards other options.

While we emphasize the importance of this visit to regional and Arab dimensions we hope it contributes to the fortification of the Arab position in the face of Zionist enemy threats and ambitions against our people and country.

While Hizbullah welcomes and blesses this visit, it calls for backing such a step with additional positive moves by transitioning into a stage of putting practical processes in place in order to achieve the political, economic and social interests of both sides.
