Safieddine: Lebanon will remain strong in face of failing “Israeli” attempts

His Eminence said on the Sixth Ashoura Night in the Central Gathering held by Hizbullah in Sayyed Alshuhada Complex: "Our enemies are working on fragmenting this society and on targeting its strengths, as in the past, it does so now and it will again in the future, particularly since we have in the past years overcame immense and numerous tribulations and adversities that targeted our society, resistance, resistance weapons and culture...All their attempts failed in frustration."

"With faith, strength and God's help you have succeeded against the greatest and biggest challenge in your noble and victorious resistance, and with the same force you will overcome all coming adversities, God willing."

"For this reason they attempted to eliminate the resistance and its weapons yet it remained, better and strong than ever, and their desperate attempts fell by the way side."
They targeted our cohesion and society's unity, yet our society remained cohesive and strong. They pressured our country and homeland politically and through international resolutions but their goals failed and our country remained."

These days as Lebanese, we have reunited this country on solid, strong and coherent political foundations and grounds upon which the homeland's interests and future are based. Enemy projects and attempts failed, while our strength and unity and that of our homeland survived."

Lebanon's unity today is a great victory for all Lebanese and everyone who sacrificed and endured through the tough times in order that Lebanon remains a powerful country in the face of "Israeli" projects."

Therefore, we must always anticipate "Israeli" attempts of targeting Lebanon. The "Israeli" refuses to let Lebanon - which is stronger than ever now - enjoy its strength. "Israel" knows very well that Lebanon which was once a thorn in "Israeli" eyes, is not only a thorn today but also a sword in the face of potential Zionist assaults against Lebanon, its unity and strength."

"Israelis" will always target our political unity and points of strength. President Obama serves the same principal, always shedding light on the resistance's arms, yet forgetting that arms and money are generously poured into the Zionist entity.
Whom does Obama think he is kidding?!

Given its experiences, the United States of America ought to know that we have tried and thwarted all their plans. If they consider the resistance arms a threat to them, they must also know we still consider such weapon, as always, one of honor, glory, defiance and strength for Lebanon...and all Obama's talk is to no avail."

The resistance and its weapons is a topic always raised by this U.S. Administration and we know quite well that "Israel" and America will continue doing so in the coming months, because they know well that the resistance along with its weapons is a real risk to all "Israeli" arrogant and hostile projects against Lebanon.
