Hizbullah Condemns Lebanese Judiciary Decision on General Jamil Al Sayyed

Hizbullah released a statement over the recent Politicized Campaign against General Jamil Al Sayyed, which read the following:

We were waiting from the responsible sides in the Lebanese Judiciary to summon those who were proud of their "Israeli" espionage and alliance, to investigate with them.

We were waiting that these judiciary firms would move in defense for all figures who were insulted for over the year by expressions which could not be interpreted, in order for the Judiciary to preserve the government's status and symbols.

We were waiting for those Jurisdictions to ask for documents and evidences, which General Jamil Al Sayyed spoke about during his latest press conference, seeking for the truth and justice.

We were surprised when the Judiciary was used to serve the political conflict through what it decided concerning General Al Sayyed.

We in Hizbullah consider that the decision sentenced is a political decision, and a title for oppression against every one confessing the truth in this time period.

We strictly refuse the decision and call for a draw back from it quickly. As for spreading justice, the Lebanese Judiciary should take responsibility in the false witnesses' issue, and those who made them, who also took Lebanon and Syria into a dark maze which almost brought to everyone's end.

Government institutions should not get involved in the judiciary for serving political leaders, especially if this involvement is exposed to be of double standards, which is far from indwelling justice and dignity.
