Hizbullah Slams UN Chief Report, Meddling in Lebanese Internal Affairs
Commenting on the report UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon issued concerning the resolution 1559, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah considers UN Secretary General report issued regarding UN resolution 1559, that was written by the ‘employee' of the Zionist entity Terry Roed Larsen as meddling in Lebanese internal affairs as well as political interference in the affairs of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
It seems that Mr. Ban Ki-Moon was in deep slumber and did not realize that Hizbullah, since long ago, has been at the heart of the Lebanese political equation through representation in the parliament and the government. For that reason, he seems to be unaware of the right of all the peoples, one of which is the Lebanese people's right to resist the occupation.
It also seems that he had no time to get acquainted to the ministerial statement of the Lebanese government which gives the Lebanese people the right to resist.
Looking at the content of the report, it is also clear that Ban Ki-Moon forgot the stance the Lebanese Republic declared at the UN General Assembly (last month), in which he affirmed that Lebanon and the Lebanese have the right to use all means possible to liberate their territories and defend themselves.
It is also clear that neither the UN Secretary General nor Terry Roed Larsen want to consider resistance as a legitimate right to defend the homeland and liberate the land. Consequently, they politically targeted the resistance through taking sides in the internal political conflict, which does not fall among their accountability anyways.
In addition, it appears that the author of the report tackled the "Israeli" violations against Lebanon in some of its paragraphs, in order to disguise its "Israeli peculiarity".
With this major amount of political meddling of the International Organization's Chief in Lebanese internal affairs, we ask him about his stance on many of the issues that have recently occurred in our region. For instance what is his stance on the "freedom fleet" and the Zionist crime against international laws and civilian passengers of the ship that was raided in the international waters?
What is his stance on the cause of more than ten thousand Palestinian detainees remaining in Zionist detention centers, or on the cause of more than 1.5 million Palestinians besieged in the Gaza strip, suffering deadly famine? What is his stance on the other 1.5 million Palestinians threatened with eviction from the land of their ancestors -in the 1948 occupied territories- as (Israel) seeks concession of a Jewish Racist Zionist state. Moreover, what is his stance on judaizing Al Quds, and the ongoing settlement construction in the West Bank.
The UN Secretary General by his silence against all these crimes as well as his compliance to the international employee of "Zionist affinity" Terry Roed Larsen, has taken the side of the Zionist occupation in face of the legitimate right of the people of occupied territories and threatened future.
Hence, he (Ki-Moon) contributes in the "mercy killing" of the international organization which lost its credibility and lost all its credit, therefore becoming a duplicate to the League of Nations which subjected itself to the "bazaar of international powers" and came to a bad end.
