Bassil: False Witnesses Issue’s Postponing, Leads to Bigger Problems

Lebanese Energy and Water Minister Gibran Bassil confirmed that the false witnesses issue will lead to bigger problems every time its discussion is postponed.
Bassil also referred that what led to the current situation, is that this issue was not tackled, adding that the judiciary is responsible for that, further calling upon the judiciary to handle the issue, or the Ministerial Council to transfer the issue to the Justice Council.
In this context, Energy and Water Minister stressed that the false witnesses issue is the most important to be transferred to the Justice Council, where it led to Lebanese incitement, and lack of unity.
Furthermore, Minister Gibran Bassil referred that Lebanon should not be affected by all the problems in the region, where it could find its own solutions, and shouldn't be subject to foreign solutions.
Concerning fuel excavation in Lebanon, Minister of Energy and Water Gibran Bassil said that the ministry is still waiting for the law allowing the fuel search, adding that next month there will be a workshop held tackling this issue.
