Hizbullah, Amal Leaderships: Resistance Strength and Will of Country in Face of Any Zionist Aggression

Hizbullah and Amal leaderships held a meeting in South Lebanon, in "Iklim Al Jabal" in which the leaderships discussed the latest developments on the Lebanese arena, particularly the South Lebanon arena.

The leaderships also discussed the program of commemorating the anniversary of Ashura for this year, and the activities to take place in the different southern cities and villages.

At the end of the meeting, the leaderships issued a joint statement which said "As Ashura approaches, it reminds of the high spirits, Jihad, sacrifice and fixed creed of the heroic resistance fighters who follow the lead of their role model Imam Hussein.

It is an embodiment to the efforts of the loyal resistance martyrs who adore Imam Hussein -PBUH- as well as the efforts of the absented Imam Moussa Al Sadr, the sacred blood of the master of martyrs Sayyed Abbas Moussawi, Sheikh Ragheb Harb. This occasion also embodies the brotherhood between Hizbullah and Amal movement in the path of building the country and national unity."

The statement continued "The occasion of Ashura is a chance for the Lebanese in general and the Muslims in particular to unite together, so that Lebanon becomes steely in face of the different conspiracies as well as foreign threats, especially the American and "Israeli" ones."

Furthermore, it reiterated "In this occasion, we assure that the resistance will remain to be the strength and will of the country in face of any Zionist aggression. In the memory of Ashura, the minaret of hope to all the free people, we assert that we will keep the pledge to the martyrs and follow their lead for the sake of the country and service of humanity, as well as in rejection to all the attempts of sowing discord that target Lebanon and its people."
