Hizbullah Condemns Terrorist Attack on Alexandria Church, Says It Serves “Israeli”-US Scheme in Region

Commenting on the attack that targeted the Coptic Church in Alexandria, Egypt, Hizbullah issued the following statement on January 1, 2011:

Words of condemnation and denouncement remain inadequate and insufficient to express the feelings of anger, sorrow and sadness to the terrorist attack targeting the Church of Saints in Alexandria with the first hours of the new year, killing tens of innocent people. 

We, in Hizbullah, express our condolences and support to the families of the martyrs and wish the injured get well soon. We also ask the Egyptian authorities, May God help them, to uncover the criminals and those backing them in order to foil one of the most dangerous conspiracies targeting religious co-existence in more than one Islamic and Arab countries which serves the "Israeli" and US schemes in the region.
