Hizbullah: Bloody Oppression Targeting Bahraini Protestors is Violation of Freedom and Rights
Local Editor
Commenting on the bloody oppression that targeted protestors in Bahrain, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah vehemently condemns the irresponsible violence against unarmed civilians whose only guilt is the achievement of basic human rights, amid ambitions to play a major political role in the country as stipulated under International law. This violence coincides with the visit of US war minister Robert Gates to the Bahraini capital Manama.
Hizbullah considers the intense use of violence as useless to the future of Bahrain and will negatively affect the country's stability as well as impede the initiatives that aim at finding a political solution to the crisis in this Arab country.
