Commenting on the demolition of mosques and worship houses executed by the Bahraini authorities, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

The Bahraini authorities have gone too far in their brutal campaign against the sons of its people, and have completely violated freedoms that reached targeting the citizens, demolishing mosques and worship houses, and desecrating the holy Quran.

The ongoing practices of the Bahraini authorities have crossed all borders, and reached the point of desecrating sanctities and basic rights ensured by all laws and whether divine or human, by that violating all human rights.

Hizbullah condemns these repressive practices, and calls on Muslim scholars, all international human rights organizations, peoples, and institutions concerned with preserving the right of the people to worship and practice their religious rituals to take a decisive stance on the destruction of worship houses and the violation of the sanctity of the noble scripture, as well as work on stopping this campaign against the worship houses, Allah's sacred Divine Book, and his oppressed people.
