MP Fayyad: Western Warnings Part of Incitement Against Resistance
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member Ali Fayyad confirmed that the western warnings of repercussions that could be exposed to Lebanon are merely hype rather than fact, and they serve the climate of incitement against resistance, and pressure on the government.
"This is part of the ongoing targeting of Lebanon, and it represents an infringement of the Lebanese sovereignty without any legal justification", MP Fayyad affirmed.
MP Fayyad further stressed that Lebanon paid the price of its sovereignty, and it will not compromise over any sovereign issue.
He noted that "The Lebanese people gained long experiences in confronting international pressures, which were in vain before the Lebanese people's will and defense for their country's interests".
Regarding the Arab revolutions, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP stressed, "It is the people's right to demand reforms and seek them, and call against any regime that does not work for the sake of its people, and does not reflect the will of its people, but rather drowns the country in corruption, and becomes careless in protecting sovereignty and independence".
MP Fayyad further warned that there are western efforts to transform the Arab people's rights to reform into a problem of sectarian, racial, and tribal division.
Moreover, MP Fayyad went on to say that western interventions only distort reform efforts and detour their correct path, at the time when reforms should remain national, and free from any foreign interference.
