Hizbullah Congratulates Palestinians on UNESCO, Condemns US Hostile Position

Congratulating the Palestinian people in gaining the UNESCO membership and commenting on the US decision of suspending the agency's funding in response to the Palestinian membership, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah congratulates the Palestinian people on seeing their legitimate right fulfilled by obtaining membership in UNESCO and gaining international recognition of some of the rights of this resisting and sacrificing people.
In parallel, Hizbullah also strongly condemns the decisions of the United States, Canada and other countries that voted against the measure.
This proves that they alienate Arab and Islamic peoples as they are determined to deprive them of their legitimate rights.
The United States' decision proves that it actually opposes the rights of people and reflects an arrogant mentality that wishes to practice absolute hegemony over the decisions and resolutions of the UN and its various agents.
The United States' new position affirms that Washington's hostility towards the Arab peoples goes beyond politics to the cultural aspect.
It shows that the US administration is adopting a racist policy, which is not foreign to the country's history and is based on the concept of neglecting the other and trying to eliminate him.
