Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that the Lebanese government has accomplished important achievements in a short period of time.

"It achieved stability, tackled livelihood issues like the electricity plan, and presented a law for elections, which is now understudy", Sheikh Qassem added.
In a speech delivered during a graduation ceremony at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut, Sheikh Qassem demanded the government to speed up appointments, and to pay more attention on the social affairs, saying, "We want this government to present more achievements for the citizens".

Moreover he added, "All should be aware that for us, the resistance and reform are inseparable. Who thought we are resisting but don't care about reform is mistaken, and who thought that reform without resistance would benefit is also mistaken".
"God willing, we will work so hard to succeed in reforms like we have succeeded with the resistance", Hizbullah Secretary General affirmed.

On another level, Sheikh Qassem addressed those betting on Hizbullah's disputes with its allies, stressing, "You are wasting your time and exhausting yourselves because our relations with our allies are strategic, and Thank God we have chosen well our allies as our allies have done".
Furthermore, he recalled former government's derelictions, and indicated, "We shouldn't hold the current government accountable for previous assaults, but of the time it has spent, and the achievements it has accomplished in this short period of time".

"Those opposing this government are stalling, blocking and screaming, but they do not have a project to aim at, and in all cases they were in power and failed", His Eminence added.
Also, Sheikh Qassem reaffirmed that those parties who stand against the current government, are intimidated by the "Israeli" and US enemies.

He added, "We will resist even if the whole world raged; for we are the people of pride and we cannot accept the occupation of our land", with reference to the great victories achieved by the resistance in Lebanon.
In this context, His Eminence Sheikh Qassem stressed that threatening to impose sanctions on Lebanon will not succeed, nor will intimating the government, because it is not possible to compromise over Lebanon's sovereignty, its land's liberty, and its people's freedom and dignity.

"We cannot accept choices that would make Lebanon subject to the US-"Israeli" scheme", His Eminence also stressed.
Hizbulllah Deputy Secretary General said, "Our resistance is the pride of Lebanon and will remains so, and the tree-force: army, people, and resistance will remain intact and firm against the US-"Israeli" scheme".
