Moussawi: West Acts According to “Double Standards” Logic
Hizbullah International Relations Official Sayyed Ammar Moussawi confirmed that everyone agrees on finding peaceful solutions based on dialogue concerning the crisis in Syria. He also believed that the forms of foreign interferences in Syria, do not help this path, but on the contrary, they complicate the issue even more.
In a meeting with a "French Socialist Party" delegation, including French Senator Richard Young, and candidate Jean Daniel Chaoui, and in presence of Hizbullah MP Nawwar Saheli, Moussawi stated that the west always acts according to the logic of "double standards".
He further called upon the Europeans to have a policy independent of that of the US, in regards to the regional developments.
On another hand, Hizbullah International Relations Official received the Nigerian Ambassador in Lebanon Amos Oluwole Idowu, and discussed with him the latest developments and bilateral relations between both countries and nations.
Moussawi and Ambassado Idowu also shed the light on the role the Lebanese community has played in Nigeria's renaissance. Moussawi thanked the Nigerian Ambassador for the care and support that his country provides for the Lebanese community.
Both sides also discussed the latest developments in the region, where Moussawi confirmed that what the regional nations seek differs completely from the agenda followed by the Western powers in dealing with the events.
He stressed that "it has become clear that the west is seeking control over the resources of the region, and its nations' capacities".
