Hizbullah Congratulates Lebanese People on Independence Day
On the occasion of Lebanese Independence Day, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The Independence Day represents a highly important platform for the Lebanese people, on the national level, as it stands as a symbol of sacrifices by our steadfast and patient people in order to liberate their land, restore its sovereignty, and ensure its independence.
On this anniversary, as Lebanese, we recall the glories of the victories that were highlighted by the people, army, and the resistance in achieving liberation on May 25, 2000, and the Divine Victory in the July 2006 war.
Hizbullah therefore congratulates and praises the Lebanese people on this national occasion, and calls for more unity and commitment to the national triptych. Hizbullah also calls for more awareness of threats pending to our country and the whole region, due to the enemies' conspiracies targeting our dignity, freedom, pride, sovereignty, homeland and independence.
