Hizbullah Condemns Escalating Zionist Attacks on Islamic, Christian Sanctities in Palestine
Local Editor
Commenting on the escalating Zionist attacks targeting Islamic and Christian sanctities in the Occupied Palestine, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The Zionist Entity has stepped up its criminal aggressions in the Occupied Palestine, through judaizing al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its sanctities and usurping lands throughout the Palestinian Territories. This while we witness an everyday scene of "Israeli" forces encouraging settlers to storm the al-Aqsa mosque and desecrate the Islamic and Christian sanctities, the last of which took place on Sunday when hundreds of [Israeli] settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque. Meanwhile, "Israeli" gangs scrawled slogans against Jesus and Chritianity on the walls of the Baptist church in al-Quds (Jerusalem).
The Gaza Strip also had its share from the attacks during the past few days in a series of Zionist air raids due to which numerous martyrs fell and dozens of Palestinians were injured.
Hizbullah considers such aggressive acts as a clear indication of the "Israeli" exploitation to the situation in the region, as it takes advantage of the status quo to execute its heinous criminal scheme to liquidate the Palestinian cause as well as to Judaize and desecrate the Islamic and Christian sanctities. This takes place at a time it [Israel] is assured that the Arab leaders are not even bothered to issue a stance that condemns its attacks or prevent them.
Hizbullah vehemently condemns this Zionist escalating attack, and calls on the Arab and Islamic peoples to take an initiative and pressure their governments to stand in face of the Zionist entity and organize protests in support of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Islamic, Christian sanctities.
Hizbullah sees that the silence of the international community and United Nations on Zionist violations makes it a partner in the aggressions, by that these bodies are held responsible of the serious repercussions affecting these sanctities in the occupied Palestine.
