Condemning the foreign troops' burning of the Holy Quran in Afghanistan, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah Denounces Burning Quran in Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan In a new crime that reveals US-Zionist desecration of Islamic sanctities and disparage to the feelings of more than one Billion Muslims, foreign troops in Afghanistan burned copies of the Holy Quran in the Bagram US military airbase.

This flagrant act that US-led forces committed against the Muslims' Holy book and their creeds coincides with the escalation of Zionist violations to the Islamic and Christian sanctities in Occupied Palestine; thus revealing a systematic campaign to desecrate all sanctities in our region.
Hizbullah, hence, condemns these criminal acts that offend every principle, ethic, and religion and calls on the peoples of the nation to raise their voices, condemn these provocative practices and denounce all attempts that aim at desecrating sanctities, whether Islamic or Christian.

Burning Of The Holy Quran

This really makes me angry! The Holy Bible and The Holy Quran are the sacred scriptures of Allah/God. When either is attacked all of Islam and Christianity feel the pain. If Muslims or Christians or anyone for that manner were to desecrate the Torah, or a synagogue the western world would classify it as a “hate crime” and be trying to find and prosecute the perpetrators. It is so sad, that people of the west promote freedom of religion and there is hardly any mention of this barbaric act in the media. I for one strongly condemn this act.
