Hizbullah Praises Bahrain Mass Rallies, Says Regime Must Fulfill People Demands

Commenting on the mass protests that took place in Bahrain, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The popular mass rallies which the leaders and scholars in Bahrain called for, proved that those calling for their rights and freedom are the majority of the Bahraini people.
These mass protests reflect the national unity among all the Bahraini sects, and stress that there exists a national consensus on the importance of making change in the country as well as fulfilling all rightful demands as soon as possible.
Hizbullah also voices appreciation to insistence of the Bahraini people on holding peaceful rallies, among which was Friday's march, despite the regime's brutal crackdown against unarmed protesters which has led to the killing of tens of Martyrs and injuring dozens, in addition to hundreds of arrests".
Hizbullah urged the international community as well as the West, to hold their responsibilities with regard to supporting these demands especially as they practice "color blindness" towards the repression of which the Bahrainis have been suffering.
Hizbullah praises these mass rallies which have been ongoing for months. It believes that the authorities in Bahrain have no choice but to fulfill the rightful demands of the people, in order to prevent the bloodshed of the innocent and save the country from injustice and oppression.
