Hizbullah: Tripoli’s Painful Events Require Investigations on Causes, Solutions for Outburst

Local Editor
Commenting on the painful events witnessed in the Northern city of Tripoli, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah expresses deep pain regarding the unfortunate events witnessed in the northern capital Tripoli, and affirms its concern towards the city and its people, as well as its security, stability, and prosperity.
Hizbullah believes that the responsibility of domestic stability in Tripoli [would be achieved] through active and positive cooperation between the people, figures, security and military apparatuses. All the Lebanese are held responsible of the situation, given the importance of the city and its special position in the national structure.
Accordingly, Hizbullah values the careful and responsible sincere efforts and benevolent endeavors, which have been made and are underway to reach an exit for the crisis. Also, Hizbullah highly appreciates the cooperation between the Lebanese Army and the security apparatuses in order to attain security and stability. This requires inquiry on the causes and possible solutions of the outburst. The policy of escaping to the front, leveling arbitrary accusations, triggering media [propaganda], frenzying incitement rhetoric; which led to congestion and unrest respectively, proved to be futile. [This policy] also failed in hiding the real whys and wherefores of the crisis.
Moreover, those who insist on fleeing their responsibility by blaming others are just stalling the crisis and the sufferings of Tripoli's residents.
Hizbullah calls upon all political forces, figures, leaders, official apparatuses, and the media to carry out their responsibilities; which are huge and great, to serve the city and its people. Hizbullah further urges the said parties to achieve wellbeing and stability for all, in order to prevent the reoccurrence of such dangerous events in the future.
