Hizbullah: Martyr Karami’s National Stances Represent Highest Degree of National Sacrifice

On the anniversary of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rashid Karami's martyrdom, Hizbullah hailed the late minister, issuing the following statement:
On this day, more than two decades ago, the hand of crime assassinated the man of fixed national positions, the Lebanese-Arab leader, former PM Rashid Karami.
This great martyr was known for his wisdom, forbearance, courage, and firmness in maintaining the unity of the homeland and the people, also known for fighting conspiracies that aimed at dividing Lebanon and federalizing it into sectarian cantons and trenches.
The solid national positions of martyr Karami and his martyrdom for these positions represent the highest degree of self-sacrifice for the sake of dignity of the land and the people. This, is in fact, an approach which the Karami family adhere to honestly, sincerely and loyally.
On this occasion, Hizbullah expresses its sincere condolences to all the Lebanese, in particular the martyr's family, especially the great Omar Karami. Hizbullah further praises Karami's great national stances, and stresses loyalty to his approach and to what he has embraced of stances to hinder the conspiracy that still pursues sowing division and sedition in Lebanon, the Arab and Islamic world.
Also, Hizbullah confirms the need to enforce justice by prosecuting those who assassinated PM Karami, who was only performing his duty as Lebanon's PM when he was martyred, so that injustice would not prevail as a result of pressure, intervention, default, or politicization.
