Hizbullah strongly denounced the storming of "Israeli" occupation forces and settlers of al-Aqsa mosque. Commenting on the painful incident, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

In the days of the holy month of Ramadan, and as the leading Imam [preacher] and the people present at the mosque were performing night prayers, occupation troops broke into al-Aqsa Mosque and arrested the imam, also expelled the people from the Mosque. They also allowed settlers to enter the squares of al-Aqsa and perform immoral provocative gestures in the mosque premises. These immoral and heart-hurting provocations were caught on camera.
It is a new crime committed by the occupiers, in light of total silence of Arab regimes, who intend to forget Palestine and its people. [They also] put all the potentials of the nation in service of the arrogant powers that present the Zionist enemy ultimate protection and support.

This crime is not the first targeting al-Aqsa Mosque, and it will not be the last if Muslims remain silent and continue to neglect the dangers imposed on this holy mosque, be it the judaization of al-Aqsa, threats of collapse due to the underground excavations, or Zionist enemy practices on ground.
Hizbullah therefore vehemently condemns this new Zionist crime, and believes that the collusion of the US administration and western government with the Zionist occupiers' assaults makes them a partner, and holds them responsibility of what is happening.

Hizbullah calls upon the Arab and Muslim nations for an inclusive renaissance entitled "al-Aqsa Mosque", in order to rescue it from the occupation, and protect it from the threats of confiscation, collapsing, and desecration.
