On the occasion of Lebanese Independence Day, Hizbullah issued the following statement: The anniversary of independence comes this year, while Lebanon continues to suffer from extremely complex, sensitive, and dangerous circumstances.
This imposes on its people to unite under the banner of Grand National assumptions, in order to preserve the country and its people in face of the storms and major dues in the region.

The Independence Day is a very important stop to all the Lebanese, for what it carries from meanings of loyalty and sacrifices made by our people in order to liberate the land, restore the sovereignty, and ensure independence.
As Hizbullah offers its congratulations and blessing for the Lebanese in this occasion, it calls for more unity and commitment to the equation of "People, Army, and the Resistance" which led to the 2000 liberation and 2000 victory.
In parallel, it stresses the need to be aware of threats surrounding our country and the entire region, due to the enemies' conspiracies and greed that target our people, land, wealth, freedom and sovereignty.
