Lebanese Lawyer May al-Khansa filed Wednesday a request to the First President of the Court of Cassation to dismiss Judge Alice Shabtiny from handling cases of "Israeli" spies after the atrocious leniency she had displayed by releasing them before their final trials.

The 11-page appeal deliberated legal grounds for her dismissal. In this context, the petitioner requested the Court of Cassation to take the necessary procedures to remove Shabtiny [whereas Article 120 and what follows of the Lebanese Code of Civil Procedures] from handling "Israeli" spies cases.

Moreover, al-Khansa mentioned in her request her readiness to present irrefutable and indisputable evidence. She further pleaded the Court to accept the request and assign a substitute.
