On the occasion of Prophet Jesus' birth, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

As the land shines with the birth of the Prophet of humanity, Jesus (PBUH), it brightens with joy and hope of salvation.
The occasion, irradiating in the faithful hearts, comes this year as harsh conditions afflict the people of the region, who believe in Jesus and his teachings.
This occasion turned the difficult conditions witnessed by both Christians and Muslims into hope for better times.
 
The teachings, set by Jesus, inspire every philanthropist and seeker of justice and equity. However, the current situation of the region contradicts with these values especially in terms of injustice affecting our Christian brethren in Palestine and the region.
The most striking example of this injustice is resembled by the Zionist occupation to Jesus' birthplace, and its assaults against Palestinians through various kinds persecution and oppression. This comes with the full support of the arrogant powers, particularly the United States.

Meanwhile, Hizbullah congratulates the Christians and the Muslims in Lebanon and the world, as well as Jesus' lovers in every place, for this happy occasion.

It further prays to al-Mighty God to return it on all Lebanese and the people of the region and the world, as they enjoy the shadow of understanding, justice, goodness, blessings, peace and security.
