Hizbullah Condemns Vicious Attack on Karami: Attempt to Risk Civil Peace

Commenting on the attack that targeted Lebanese minister Faisal Karami, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah strongly condemns the vicious attack against minister Karami's convoy in Tripoli, which led to the injury of a number of his bodyguards.

The aim of such criminal practices is to risk civil peace, hit Tripoli's stability, and ignite conflicts among its residents. This should be strongly opposed by everyone.

Hizbullah further calls on security forces and competent authorities to carry out their duties to the fullest in order to identify the attackers and bring them to justice for punishment.
Moreover, the party urges wise people in the city of Tripoli to exert all efforts to prevent the implementation of projects aimed at inciting strife.

In parallel, Hizbullah congratulates Minister Faisal Karami and his father, the great national symbol, former Prime Minister Omar Karami for surviving this attack. It also wishes the wounded a speed recovery.
